Mercedes-AMG forged wheel projects cover sedans such as the C 63 and E 63, the AMG GT, performance SUVs such as the GLE 63 and the G 63. Most share one bolt pattern, but the G-Class is different, and brake packages, vehicle weight and staggered sizing change the specification. This guide lists what we check before quoting and what to send.

Mercedes-AMG Reference Specifications (Confirm by VIN)
The values below are common reference points used to start a brief. Model year, market, trim and brake package can change them — confirm against the VIN, the original wheel markings or a measured hub.

Brake Clearance
AMG models are offered with different high-performance brake systems, including ceramic-composite options on some models. Caliper size changes with the package, so clearance is checked per car, not per model name.
Deep concave and multi-spoke designs need the closest check against large calipers.
- Brake package name (standard, sport, carbon-ceramic, etc.)
- Caliper clearance template or caliper photo with measurements, if available
- Minimum wheel diameter the brake package accepts
- Spoke profile and barrel shape you want — deep concave faces need more checking
Load Rating and Vehicle Weight
AMG SUVs and the G 63 are heavy vehicles, and many owners fit large-diameter wheels. The load rating is agreed per wheel size for the actual axle load. A G-Class wheel should never be specified from sedan data.
Send the gross vehicle weight or axle load from the door placard. The target load rating is agreed per wheel size and confirmed on the drawing; where FEA or testing is in scope, the quotation states the inputs, the SKU covered and the report delivered. See load rating, JWL, VIA and TÜV explained.
Front/Rear Sizing (Staggered Setups)
Many AMG sedans and the AMG GT use wider rear wheels. Front and rear are separate SKUs with their own ET, width and tire size.
G-Class and SUV projects are usually square, but width and ET must still be checked against suspension, fender and tire clearance.
ET, Width and Center Bore
Send stock ET and width for both axles and the target values. On the G-Class, wider wheels with lower ET change the scrub radius and fender clearance.
Mercedes-AMG cars mainly use a 66.6 mm center bore; the G-Class uses 84.1 mm. Forged wheels are machined hub-centric to the exact bore.

Lug Bolts, Seats and TPMS
Mercedes uses lug bolts. Thread, length and seat type must match the wheel’s seat design and hub thickness. Tell us whether you will reuse factory TPMS sensors so valve position can be confirmed.

Can one design fit both an AMG sedan and a G 63?
The styling can be shared, but the G-Class needs its own PCD, center bore, load rating and drawing, so it is a separate SKU.
Can you make 22–24 inch wheels for the G 63?
Large sizes are possible to quote, but load rating, tire availability and suspension clearance are confirmed on the drawing first.
Do you guarantee fitment on my car?
