Lamborghini and Ferrari Forged Wheel Project Checklist

Forged wheels for Lamborghini and Ferrari are low-volume, high-value projects where small errors are expensive. Supercars combine carbon-ceramic brakes, tight fender clearance, staggered sizing and — on some variants — center-lock hubs. Use this checklist to prepare a complete brief before asking any supplier for a quotation.

Important: this is a project checklist, not a fitment guarantee. Every set is checked against your vehicle data and an approved drawing before production.

1. Identify the Exact Vehicle and Hub Type

  • Model, variant, model year and market — confirm with the VIN
  • 5-lug or center-lock hub (some high-performance variants use center-lock)
  • PCD, center bore and fastener type taken from the original wheels or OEM data, not from a generic chart
  • Original wheel sizes and ET, front and rear

Lamborghini and Ferrari use different patterns across models (for example, SUV and supercar platforms differ). Center-lock hubs need their own engineering review and are quoted separately from 5-lug designs.

2. Brake Clearance

  • Brake package: steel or carbon-ceramic
  • Caliper photos with measurements, or an OEM clearance template if available
  • Minimum wheel diameter the brake package accepts
  • Spoke back-profile and face depth you want

Carbon-ceramic calipers are large, and deep concave faces reduce the space behind the spokes. Clearance is checked on the drawing for the exact diameter and design.

3. Front/Rear Sizing and ET

  • Staggered front and rear widths and diameters (most supercars are staggered)
  • Target ET front and rear, and any spacers
  • Tire sizes and brand, front and rear
  • Fender and suspension clearance at full lock and at lowered or lifted ride height (front-axle lift systems)

4. Load, Weight and Testing Scope

Supercars are relatively light, but loads at high speed and under hard braking are severe; Lamborghini SUVs are heavy. Agree the target load rating per wheel size. If FEA or testing is required, the quotation must state who performs it, the load and boundary inputs, which wheel design/SKU it covers and the report delivered — results apply only to that design. See load rating, JWL, VIA and TÜV explained.

5. Construction, Finish and Details

  • Monoblock, 2-piece or 3-piece construction
  • Finish samples: brushed, polished, painted, two-tone or special coatings — approve a swatch or sample first
  • Center caps or center-lock nut covers, logos and valve stems
  • TPMS sensor reuse and valve position
  • Hardware finish (bolts or nuts)

6. Documents to Ask For

  • Approved drawing with revision number for each SKU
  • Finish confirmation (sample or photos) before production
  • Inspection record for the agreed check items
  • Packing method for high-value finishes and a packing list
  • Written quotation stating MOQ, price basis, lead time start point, testing scope and Incoterm

MOQ, lead time and shipping terms are confirmed in the written quotation: MOQ by design, size, SKU, finish and packaging; some projects have a 20–25 day production target counted from confirmation of drawing, specifications, finish and production slot; DDP only after destination, importer of record, duties and taxes are confirmed.

Lamborghini and Ferrari Forged Wheel FAQ

Can you make center-lock wheels?

Center-lock projects need a separate engineering review of the hub, nut and safety components, and are quoted only after those requirements are confirmed.

Can one design fit both a Lamborghini and a Ferrari?

The styling can be shared, but PCD, center bore, fasteners, ET and brake clearance differ, so each car needs its own drawing and SKU.

Do you guarantee fitment?

We review your vehicle data against the drawing before production. Final fitment is confirmed on the approved drawing and, where needed, a test fit.
